澜河村是澜河镇政府所在的圩镇村，与帽子峰镇、白云村、上澜村和帽子峰林场相邻，离镇中心约0.5公里。[1]据博雅地名网，最早是赤潭、彭古王等三个村的村民在此定居，他们傍河而居，把此处称为「栏河」，后写作「㳕」，今习惯写作「澜」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年属河矽乡，1955年改澜河初级社，1956年改高级社，1961年成为澜河大队，1983年设澜河乡，1988年改称管理区，1998年12月撤销管理区、改设澜河村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，全村总面积28276亩，其中毛竹4967亩、生态林9445.5亩、水稻1150亩，森林覆盖率65%；下设11个自然村，总人口1268人。村民收入主要来自毛竹、杉木和外出务工，集体收入靠林场发包，农作物以花生、优质稻和蔬菜为主。[1]
文化[edit]
2023年的报道把东江纵队隐蔽处旧址列为镇里的红色资源之一，并称澜河锅坑一带建有温泉民宿，七四三矿原生活区也在规划利用温泉资源，发展康养旅游。[2]澜河圩的旧街改造自2022年3月起实施，由南雄市住房和城乡建设局挂点帮扶本村。[2]
