长市村是广东省韶关市南雄市湖口镇所辖的行政村，村委会在镇政府以东约2公里。[1]2020年入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，产业为中草药。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据村情资料，解放前这里是一处集市，街道很长，路面铺满鹅卵石，村名因此得来。[1]1953年为互助组，1954年改初级社，1956年改高级社；1959年，由白木、彭坑、江背三个大队并成长市大队；1983年改乡，1988年改管理区，1998年12月撤区设村委会。[1]

据村情资料（未注明年份），全村958户3924人，总面积16189.5亩，耕地4355亩，下设24个村小组，黄烟田1200亩，另种花生1027亩和水稻428亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村；2021年12月获评「2021年广东省卫生村」；2022年1月被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位」；2024年4月入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单」。[1]
