承平村是广东省韶关市南雄市湖口镇所辖的行政村，位于镇政府以西，毗邻雄州街道，距城区约3公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取自“呈平”的谐音，因辖区地势多较平坦。[1]1950年为承平乡，1954年组成初级社，1956年转高级社；1979年午田、洋坋两个大队并成承平大队；1986年设村委会，1988年改管理区，1998年12月撤区设村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据村情资料（未注明年份），全村926户4155人，总面积14304亩，耕地6747亩，下设29个村小组，黄烟田1985亩，另种水稻3304亩和花生1118亩。[1]2023年5月获评「2022年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
