厚坑村是仁化县城口镇下辖的行政村，种柑橘，村名来自村北的厚岭和所在的马鞍坑。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村北有厚岭，村庄又建在马鞍坑，村名由此而来。厚坑最初叫厚塘乡，1958年的大队写作后塘，1984年起定为厚坑，此后经村委会、管理区两度更替，1998年12月恢复村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
广东省农业农村厅在2020年8月公布「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，厚坑村以柑橘入选。[1]
荣誉[edit]
厚坑村在2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2026年3月又被广东省认定为「第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」之一。[1]
据仁化县人民政府网站对城口镇的介绍，2025年厚坑村完成了村委会围墙的「拆围透绿」以及「四小园」、乡村振兴车间的综合提升，并推进国道106线路口至塘村路口的道路拓宽和彭屋1.5千米村道的硬底化；镇内四处地下热水中，厚坑有暖洞一处。[2]
