城群村是仁化县城口镇下辖的行政村，是中将谭甫仁的家乡。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网：最初取名“成群”，因当时组织内共有24个生产队；后来村子位于城口镇，便改写为“城群”。[1]1951年设城中乡，1958年起改称城群大队，其后几经更替，1998年定名城群村委会。[1]
城群村在2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2026年3月又被广东省认定为「第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」之一。[1]
著名人物[edit]
谭甫仁生于1910年，卒于1970年，学名谭广基，家在紫震街，少年时就读于城口国民高等小学。[1]他参加过南昌起义和长征，1955年被授予中将军衔。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
古秦城遗址的东端起于城群村八角亭。[3]
据仁化县人民政府网站对城口镇的介绍，城群村被县政府网站列为广东省文化和旅游特色村；2025年村里利用边角地建了健身小公园和古榕树公园，新增标准较高的村道4千米；镇政府驻在该村，拱桥头的温泉水温75摄氏度，日流量1728立方米；长征研学基地用到了城群村为坑组的闲置资产。[4]2026年10月，该村代表队在镇里的国庆篮球赛决赛中以73比54胜城口社区队夺冠。[5]
