周所村位于始兴县东南部，隶属顿岗镇，是一个行政村，区划代码440222103212。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

周所1956年为乡，次年转为高级社，1958年建周所大队。1981年上张自周所分出，周所大队保留；1983年上张并回，合称周所乡；此后上张再次分出。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

顿岗竹苞松茂围坐落在村内：青砖、瓦、木结构，面阔25.8米、进深17米，四层，高约13米，门楣题「竹苞松茂」，落款为咸丰三年（1853年）；周围住的是张姓人家，约45户。[2] 上寨自然村的南山坡上有一座晋墓，1982年清理，墓砖铭文纪年咸和四年（329年）。[3]

选陂村[edit]

周所村辖下的选陂村，由张九龄的第三十八代孙张富雄于清道光十三年（1833年）建立，原叫上选村；北伐军驻扎时村民捐助钱粮，村名随之改为选陂村。2019年3月，它列入第六批广东省古村落。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把周所村定为2021年度乡村治理示范村创建单位。[1]
