和平八一社区是韶关市浈江区花坪镇的社区，居民主要是上世纪50年代末因新丰江水库移民迁来的群众后代。社区由和平、八一两个居委会合并而成，名称即由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年新丰江水电站动工，库区须迁出居民。河源县南湖公社下的和平、八一、里群三个公社，起初定于迁往惠州博罗；后来省里上马矿山项目，计划改变，三社群众从1959年3月2日起分四批迁到韶关的曲仁煤矿，共828户3209人。和平、八一两社落户仁化辖区的格顶矿区，里群落户曲江辖区的花坪矿区。年底全部迁毕，曲仁煤矿受托代管三个社。[1]
1967年起，移民暂归红工矿务局（原曲仁矿务局）领导，之后按原公社分设和平队、八一队、里群队，运作方式与农村大队无异。80年代初，三队改设村民委员会，1986年又各办农工商公司。[1]
2005年底筹备合并，和平、八一、里群三队并为一个居民区，2009年正式设立，下分和平、八一两个居委会。2020年8月，花坪镇和平八一社区居民委员会成立，日常由曲仁办事处管理。[1]
