西牛潭村是韶关市浈江区花坪镇的行政村，下设10个村小组，384户1644人，辖区内有西牛潭水库。村委会设在西牛潭村，村名即由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国后归犁市公社管，1965年改隶曲江的花坪镇，2004年设浈江区西牛潭村委会。2019年9月，该村进入2018年度省级民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖区内的水库水面约4005亩，耕地约133亩。[1]水库即西牛潭水库，1958年冬动工，1964年冬投用，总库容4389万立方米。[2]
