湾头村是广东省韶关市浈江区十里亭镇辖下的行政村，位于镇东部烽火岭山脚，东邻长坝镇，浈江从村前流过[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名因地处浈水的头一个河湾而得。据博雅地名网，村始建于唐宋年间，曾有“九井十八桥”的说法；卢姓明代迁入，现仍是主要姓氏[1]。

人口民族[edit]

行政村含卢屋、姜屋、石屋、李屋、河边五个自然村，主要语言为本城话。2004年全村1280人，耕地3560亩，山林16800亩[1][2]。

经济[edit]

村里以农林业为主，种水稻、黄豆、红瓜子和番薯。1993年起七成水稻田改作菜地，并发展竹笋加工，产品销往广州、上海和香港；红瓜子与西瓜也有名气。2004年工农业产值1457万元[1]。镇概况所列加州鲈鱼养殖、油茶产业园和稻田养虾项目都在这个村[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

博雅地名网记载，宋代村中建有三峯寺（毁于1912年雷击），此后又有新庙（毁于抗日战争时期）和西华庵；1993年香港信众建了师姑庙。该网还称村中出过清乾隆年间的二广都督卢广居，民国时有4人毕业于黄埔军校第四期，这些说法未见其他资料印证[1]。

香火龙与村落整治[edit]

十里亭镇的介绍称，湾头村依山傍水，已有400多年历史；2018年浈江香火龙被列入浈江区非物质文化遗产，该项目即起源于湾头村。[4] 区文旅体局记载，香火龙用稻草扎成，插满点燃的香，每年元宵节连舞三晚，龙身第一晚长33米，第二晚36米，第三晚39米，舞毕送至浈江边「送龙入水」。[5]

据该文，区政府投入约2200万元，把湾头村建成精品示范村，保留岭南客家民居的外观，整修巷道与村口公园、村史广场，并把古村与周边的现代农业、加州鲈鱼项目联在一起。[4] 2024年的旅游路线把湾头古村落列入阅丹公路沿线的游览点。[6]
