围坪村是江湾镇北部的行政村，东邻锅溪村，西南接梁屋村，西与乳源瑶族自治县相邻，北与龙归镇相交[1]。村名取自村委会驻地围坪村[1]。下辖8个自然村，耕地约1293亩，山林42余平方公里，共216户1126人[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

围坪在1951年设乡，1958年成为大队；1983年复为乡，1987年转为管理区，1998年定为村民委员会，2004年起归武江区管辖[1]。

经济[edit]

农业以水稻、花生、蔬菜、水果为主，畜牧和林业作补充。改革开放后村里引进外资约1500万元，兴建小水电站6座，装机容量2000千瓦，其中村及村小组所有的4座合计1200千瓦。1998年，村里建成范角新村，这是据该页所述全镇首个楼房化的新农村[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2023年4月，围坪村进入2022年度广东省乡村治理示范村的创建名单[1]。

涂氏水车与产业[edit]

涂氏水车技艺的传承人涂祖奕在村里。这门技艺起于清代晚期，由他的曾祖父涂吉纯革新创制，造的是适合山溪落差的「斗子式阳水车」，全用榫卯而不用钉，兼可灌溉、舂米和榨油；涂祖奕是第四代传承人，在村里设有非遗工作室。[2]

村里设有乡村振兴加工车间，负责江湾灵芝的初加工。[3] 围坪村是省级乡村治理示范村；罗屋村参加区人居环境整治「打擂比武」，获得区级评比一等奖。[4][5]
