瑶族村是江湾镇的行政村，处在梁屋、围坪、湖洋、胡屋四个村的交界地带，紧靠乳源瑶族自治县[1]。全村分6个自然村，住得分散而偏远，耕地200多亩，山林10多平方公里，登记109户568人[1]。武江区的瑶族人口主要集中在这个村，村民讲瑶族勉语[2]。

村民以山林为生，种少量水稻、玉米和自家吃的蔬菜。村里引进外资1000万元，建起6座小水电站，装机1400多千瓦。近年已有六十多户瑶民迁出大山，在镇区附近盖了楼房[1]。
文化[edit]
2024年底的报道提到，村里的练屋村原本的目标是建成瑶族特色村寨，灾后将继续整治[3]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，瑶族村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。

瑶族村是武江区唯一的少数民族行政村，武江区政府网站的民族宗教页记其130户645人（未注明年份）；全区瑶族人口最多，集中在该村，村民讲瑶族勉语。[4][5]
