红色遗址[edit]
中共增龙博中心县委旧址在村里山腰的一处小院，院内东西两排各4间瓦房，1940年4月至1942年5月是增城、龙门、博罗三县中共县委所在地。[1]
博雅地名网引考证称，1938年10月日军在大亚湾登陆后分路进攻增城，10月19日国民革命军在增城、博罗交界的白面石布防阻击，次日交火，这一带因此被称为华南抗日战争的早期战场。[1]为纪念1938年10月阵亡的国民革命军独立20旅二营官兵，爱国人士王雁门倡建了白面石抗日烈士纪念亭，亭在白面石与乌头石交界处。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期属增城县第三区勒竹乡；1957年组建庆丰高级社；1980年前归合水店大队管辖，1980年春经县政府批准成立白面石大队；1983年撤社建白面石乡，1987年初乡改为村，组建白面石村民委员会。[1]
著名人物[edit]
王国祥（1920—1995），白面石村人，1945年6月加入中国共产党，曾任增城抗日人民自卫队中队长、游击队罗浮大队大队长等职。[1]
