位置与自然村[edit]
村的东面是浪拔村和西湖滩村，南面同番丰、圭湖、蒙花布、汀塘等村相接，西邻庙尾村，北靠梳脑林场；S119省道（增龙公路）从村内经过。[1]
36个自然村包括灯心冚、大围、老中围、中间围、合胜、河背、大田尾、禾里寨等。[1]
近年情况[edit]
正果拦河坝介于蒙花布村与麻冚村之间，2022年重建竣工，成了游客喜欢到访的地点。[2]麻冚村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单（2019年9月公布），2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国后先编入新五区的正北乡；1957年组建富强高级社，1958年改称麻冚大队；1983年撤社建麻冚乡，1987年初乡改为村，组建麻冚村民委员会。[1]
