历史沿革[edit]
民国时期这里属增城县第三区梅江乡；新中国成立初期属正西乡；1958年建人民公社时归和平大队；1977年春经批准从和平大队分出，成立大冚大队；1983年撤社建大冚乡，1987年初乡改为村，组建大冚村民委员会。[1]
经济与交通[edit]
村内耕地约983亩，种有荔枝、龙眼等果树，正兰公路是对外的主要通道，也是去往畲族村和兰溪荔枝沟的必经之路。[1]近年村里办有大冚生态园，发展生态农业。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
