东汾村为广州市增城区正果镇所辖的行政村，村域面积约10.5平方千米，距镇区约6公里，东与博罗县福田镇相邻；百度百科称其别名冷水坑，是纯客家村落。[1][2]

村名与历史[edit]

清代，东汾村从本乡的朱塘村分出建村；村子坐东朝西，“分”与“汾”谐音，故名东汾。[1]百度百科记载，村民先祖在清康熙年间从兴宁、梅县一带迁来，以王姓为主。[2]

建国后先编入新五区的正西乡；1954年组建初级社，1956年组建光明高级社，1958年改称东汾大队；1983年撤社建东汾乡，1987年初乡改为村，组建东汾村委会。[1]

自然景观[edit]

村与博罗县交界处有一条南北走向的山脉，当地叫“十二栋”，是增城东北部同博罗县的界山。主峰附近有三块相距一两米的巨石，状如刀削，称“三破石”；山下“新梅呦”一带还有一块乌黑圆润、直径达数丈的巨石，称“大石古”。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网记总人口2035人；百度百科记户籍人口2800人，二者年份均未注明。村民以耕种养殖为主，种有挂绿、桂味等荔枝；2022年起发展构香鸡、构香鸭等禽畜养殖。[1][2]

2019年9月，东汾村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
