历史沿革[edit]
按博雅地名网，村名来自驻地街口村；该网站把它记作街口社区（代码440117001021）。[1] 1979年经县里批准，原属城郊公社雄锋大队、围着县城分布在新公路（今新城中路）北侧的6条自然村，转归街口镇管，另立为街口大队。1983年末，它并进城郊区中联乡；1987年初起称街口村委员会，隶属街口镇，延续到现在。[1]
经济[edit]
该社区取得「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱卫会在2023年5月授予；2026年1月，又进入2025年广州市充分就业社区（村）的认定名单。[1]
