历史沿革[edit]
村名寓意在五星红旗的带领下团结一致。[1] 团星大队设于1958年；1983年12月起与城南大队合在一起，叫附城乡；至1987年1月再分出来，设团星村民委员会，延续到现在。[1]
经济[edit]
广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，团星村以水稻入选；2024年11月，它获广州市充分就业社区（村）认定；2026年1月评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
西溪祖祠在团星村松柏堂，是街口街道的不可移动文物之一。该祠由两组宗祠建筑相连而成，建造年代不晚于1488年。[2]
