东里村是广州市南沙区黄阁镇位于镇中心的行政村，是东里、莲溪、大塘、大井“四大村”之一，下辖乌石湾、联合围两个自然村。[1][2] 村名原作“田头”，意为田地，后取“里”字，又因在黄阁镇东部，称东里。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

东里村自明、清起归香山县黄旗都，民国时期归中山县第九区管辖。1959年7月转入番禺县黄阁公社，成立东里大队；1987年10月起设村民委员会，2005年10月与黄阁镇同时转入南沙区。[1]

人口经济[edit]

村域面积约5平方千米，2009年有858户2904人，另有外来人员约1500人。[1] 据广州市规划部门的资料，2012年户籍人口2955人，2017年为3220人，下辖18个生产队。[2] 村集体收入主要靠15%留用地和厂房、商铺出租，留用地上建有员工宿舍、加油站和汽车销售店。[1]

文化古迹[edit]

东里村是广州市级传统村落。[4] 据村庄简介，村内现存寺庙祠堂6处、门楼3座、古井5口、古墓20座、古树2棵，多为反映岭南宗族文化的遗存。[2]

主要古迹有：初建于元代的将军祠，是东里始祖麦六三、麦公进的祠堂；少山麦公祠和辅党麦公祠，均始建于明代；麦公进夫妇墓，元代，2008年12月列入第七批广州市文物保护单位；供村民取水祭祀的三圣庙井。[5][6]

村里的同庆社保持着黄阁麒麟舞的传统，村民也沿袭为新生男丁“开灯”的做法。[2][7]
