横沥镇是广东省广州市南沙区西部的镇，因境内有上横沥、下横沥两条水道而得名。[1]该镇1977年10月由番禺县大岗公社和万顷沙公社划出的13个大队组成，2005年随番禺区部分区域划入新设的南沙区；同年又接收原灵山镇的庙南村、七一村和庙贝农场。[1]镇政府设在兆丰社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

当地在清代和民国时期多属香山县（今中山市）一带，水网之间的沙田逐步围垦成村，例如大元村、义沙村分别在1840年前后和1837年围垦成田。[2][3]1959年起，这些地方划归番禺县的大岗公社或万顷沙公社；1977年10月，两公社分出13个大队，新组成横沥公社，后改为横沥镇。[1][3]

2005年4月，国务院批准设立广州市南沙区，横沥镇同年10月从番禺区整建制移交南沙区。原灵山镇的庙南村、七一村和庙贝农场（今庙贝社区）也在此时并入横沥镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域在珠江口的河网地带，西临洪奇沥水道，东侧是蕉门水道，上横沥、下横沥两条水道把全镇分隔成北面的义沙岛（含灵山岛尖一带）与南面的下横沥片。[1][3]水稻土是这一带沙田的主要耕作土壤。[4]

经济[edit]

横沥原是以种植业为主的小镇。2012年南沙新区获批，以灵山岛尖和横沥岛尖为核心的明珠湾起步区开始建设，面积约10.54平方千米的两处岛尖，在2015年4月划入中国（广东）自由贸易试验区南沙新区片区。[1]镇内大元村一带的开发区聚集了五金、塑料、纺织等制造企业，冯马三村一带则设有横沥产业园。[3][5]近年镇里沿横沥牌坊、广兴路、工业路、中环路一线整治街区风貌，并在牌坊以东布局了医院和国际金融论坛的会址。[6]

各村种植的作物以蔬菜、甘蔗、玉米为主；庙南村的粉葛、太阳升村的木瓜和石榴、东方红村的鳗鱼养殖是当地的农业特色。[1]

荣誉[edit]

横沥镇列入2025年全国千强镇名单，名次为第626名；2023年被评为广东省森林城镇，2022年入选淘宝镇名单，并被确认为2021年度国家卫生乡镇。[1]

广州地铁18号线设有横沥站。[2]
