庙贝社区位于广州市南沙区横沥镇北部，距镇政府约6千米，前身为庙贝农场。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
土地改革结束后，番禺县清罟村尚余3000多亩田，有关部门便在这里办起庙贝农场，名称在1959年变为庙贝机械农场。驻军因需要在1962年底划走大围、中围等共2581亩，其余交灵山人民公社代管；驻军于1972年12月离开，番禺县接收土地。[1]
概况[edit]
社区东面是蕉门水道，隔着上横沥水道与大元村对望，北邻大岗镇庙青村，面积约2.3平方千米。户籍人口1198人，约1671人常住；耕地1357亩，主要发包用于水产养殖、种花和种菜。[1]
社区列入「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
