狮民村是广州市花都区花山镇下辖的行政村。村旁有座狮子山，解放前这里叫狮洞，1958年改称狮民，取「狮洞人民」之意。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1955至1957年，此地与北兴镇的新开田村并成一个乡，叫狮田；1958年成立人民公社后改叫狮民。1959至1960年设狮民大队，1983年队制取消，设狮民乡。村民委员会设于1987年1月，起初属花山区公所，3月转归花山镇。[1]
经济[edit]
2021年9月，狮民村进入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，品类为蔬果；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
