紫西村是广州市花都区花山镇下辖的行政村，由紫坭庄、西安村合并而成，各取一字为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

紫坭庄与西安村在1952年并乡，称紫西乡；1964年西安村改由芙蓉嶂林场管辖，名称仍作紫西。1967年一度叫五一大队，1974年恢复紫西。1983年队制取消，设紫西乡；村民委员会设于1987年1月，起初属花山区公所，3月转归花山镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2017年10月授予紫西村「第一批广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
