平西村是广州市花都区花山镇下辖的行政村，在平山村的西面，村名由方位而来。[1] 村内树滋庄有思明西校，是广州市文物保护单位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

联和、联群、西村三个高级农业社成立于1956年，1958年改作大队，1960年合成一个大队，1983年生产队制取消后设平西乡。[1] 村民委员会设于1987年1月，起初归花山区公所，3月转由花山镇管辖。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

思明西校位于树滋庄，建于1925年，类别为「近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑」，入选第七批广州市文物保护单位的时间是2008年12月。[1]

荣誉[edit]

平西村在2020、2021、2022年三年的淘宝村名单上都有名字；2024年11月，被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
