汉溪村是广州市番禺区钟村街道辖下的行政村，在街道东北面，毗邻大石街道和南村镇，靠近广州地铁3号线汉溪长隆站，面积约0.45平方公里[1]。村委会设在汉溪路141号[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村子宋代开村，原是钟村的一个坊，最初叫南浦，因多丘陵又称旱塘尾，后因「旱」字犯耕作之忌，取谐音改作汉塘里，再因「塘里」与「溪」同义，定名汉溪村。宋开禧年间，简姓在此聚居，后来黄、刘、丁、梁等姓相继迁来。1959年设汉溪大队，1967年一度改称红星大队，1980年恢复原名，1984年改为汉溪乡，1987年起设村民委员会[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据2009年前后的村情介绍，村里常住1283人，外来人员约4000人，厂企约40家，当年集体收入900多万元，人均收入约7000元[1]。

荣誉[edit]

广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月把汉溪村列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位；2021年和2022年的淘宝村名单中均有汉溪村；2023年8月，汉溪村获评2022年度「广州市美丽乡村」；2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」[1]。
