居委会建于2005年。社区曾获广州市文明社区、广州市绿色社区、番禺区巾帼文明岗等称号[2]。

地理环境[edit]

社区东面是西涌河，南面是繁华路，西面是西环西路，北面是捷进路，占地约32.6万平方米，绿化约6.7万平方米[2]。
