历史沿革[edit]
社区名称从2002年8月命名起沿用至今。2021年11月，它被市住建部门确定为绿色社区；2024年11月又入选广州市充分就业社区（村）名单[1]。居委会曾获街文明社区、番禺区安全社区等称号[2]。
地理环境[edit]
社区东起德兴路237号至439号，南至长堤东路259号以后路段，西起德胜路174号至320号，北至东沙路111号至185号[2]。
经济[edit]
辖内小区中，德丰园、德福楼由居委会自管，东沙别墅区、璇玑金村、开阳阁、东逸豪园、东骏园和东丽园交给物业公司管理，另有路桥公司宿舍楼和东堤大街、长堤东路、北基大街一带的散居住户[2]。
