南岗社区在广州市黄埔区南岗街道，由原南岗村转制而成，辖区约8.8平方千米，是街道里面积较大的一个社区，下辖8个自然片和南康新村，属综合型社区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，南岗村宋代称永宁乡；秦姓先祖唐代曾封永宁侯，后人在此卜居建村，故以南岗为名。[3] 清康熙至光绪年间属番禺县鹿步司南岗堡；1950年属番禺五区南岗乡，1955年起归番禺县萝岗区。[3] 1958年划入广州市郊区，1960年4月归新设的黄埔区南岗人民公社，1962年8月起设南岗生产大队，下分26个生产队。[3]

1987年3月南岗区公所改为南岗镇，原南岗乡人民政府改称南岗村民委员会；2002年8月1日撤镇设街，村民委员会撤销，改设南岗社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[3]

地理环境[edit]

社区东接增城区新塘镇，南面临东江，西南同广州开发区、保税区相邻，西为沙步社区，北为开发区东区和云埔工业区。[2] 耕地800余亩，商住用地近600亩，工业用地近1000亩。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，辖区常住约2520户，另有外来人口约7276人，出租屋约668栋。[2]

经济[edit]

辖区有工业厂房约9万平方米，企业单位有统一、群英、三华、务冠等公司；社区内设有输变电站及多家银行、信用社的网点，黄埔区人民法庭和公安派出机构也设在这里。[2]

姓氏宗族[edit]

南岗村以秦姓为主要姓氏，博雅地名网称其先祖在唐代曾受封永宁侯。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

南岗秦氏大宗祠在南岗西路，建于明清时期，2008年12月列入第七批广州市文物保护单位。[4] 进昌秦公祠在亨元上街，据村民介绍建于清代，坐西朝东，三间三进，建筑面积记为349.14平方米，祠主秦进昌为南岗秦姓六世祖；头门石额「进昌秦公祠」、中堂匾额「式谷堂」均署谭延闿书。[5] 此外，宜聘秦公祠、英凤祖祠、宁轩秦公祠等也在黄埔区传统风貌建筑保护名录之中。[6]

2019年9月，南岗社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
