地理环境[edit]
社区东到银河公墓边，同五山街交界；南到绿佳花园，与汇富花园交界，沿燕都路、粤垦路到燕岭路；西至燕岭路；北到银河公墓边，与元岗街交界。[1]
经济与社会[edit]
辖内主要单位有广州市殡葬服务中心、广州市银河烈士陵园管理处、武警广东省总队医院、广东省农垦科技中心、天泽中小学校等。[1] 社区在2021年11月获确定为广州市2021年绿色社区，2024年11月又获充分就业社区（村）的认定。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
「粤军第一师诸先烈纪念碑」在广汕公路旁的牛眠岗，为外砌花岗石的钢筋混凝土方锥形碑，高约38米，1986年重修，2022年升为广东省文物保护单位。[1][2]
