牛利岗社区在广州市天河区兴华街道境内东南部，名称来自辖区里的牛利岗村。[1][2]
居委会设立于1996年11月，辖区约0.8平方千米。牛利岗村是有200多年历史的客家村落，原名「牛脷岗」，后来写作牛利岗。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，牛利岗村已有200多年历史。过去村民以种菜为生，如今辖区内有包括广日电梯厂在内的26家企业，出租屋也发展很快，博雅地名网记载有出租屋156栋。[1][2]
2017年5月，原由牛利岗和苏庄两个居委会共同管辖的一部分地区划出，成立沙太社区。[3]
社会[edit]
社区组建了一支义务消防队和一支150人的治安队伍，居民还自己出钱，配合派出所装了120盏路灯。[1][2] 2019年9月，它列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年11月又获广州市2022年绿色社区的认定。[2]
