金燕社区在广州市天河区兴华街道境内，居委会主要管辖金燕花苑一至三期，社区由此得名。[1][2]

社区设立于2002年6月，辖区约0.6平方千米，由7个商住小区组成，居民4407户；据博雅地名网，它在街道各社区中面积和人口都居首位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

2009年11月，金燕社区原管辖的一部分地段，经天河区人民政府批准另设为建武社区。[3]

社会[edit]

社区利用辖内资源筹集资金，按小区特点建成文化小区、绿色小区、体育小区等；2003年被天河区评为「安全社区」，2021年11月被确定为广州市2021年绿色社区，2025年度又获广州市充分就业社区（村）的认定。[1][2]
