兴华社区是广东省广州市天河区兴华街道下辖的社区，在街道西南部，因辖区内有兴华村而得名，街道也由此得名。[1][2]

居委会成立于1996年12月13日，辖区约0.35平方千米，有兴华村和马蹄岗村两个自然村，是以村落和院校为主的社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

兴华村在瘦狗岭上，位置相当于「狗头」，村里原有一座庙，门匾刻「斌华庙」，村子旧称斌华村，俗称狗头村。1918年，从美国回乡的华侨在这里置业，提议按谐音改称兴华，取振兴中华之意，经村中父老同意后定名。[2]

社会[edit]

社区与辖内8所学校联系，联合开展文化、教育活动。[1] 2004年马蹄岗大街修葺，2005年兴华大街路面修建，同年5月，两个自然村完成明渠改暗渠和安装路灯的工程。[1]

兴华社区在2021年11月获确定为广州市2021年绿色社区，2023年又被命名为广州市健康社区（村）。[1][3]
