石东社区是石牌街道辖下的居民委员会，辖区主要是原石东村一带，居委会也设在这里，社区因此得名。[1]

沿革[edit]

演变过程：1991年1月为石牌东路居委会；1997年1月更名石东居委会；2002年，天河区政府批准设立现在的石东社区居民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年11月，石东社区入选「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。[1]
