江海街道是广州市海珠区中部的一个街道，1999年设立，办事处设在石榴岗路470号，辖区面积约5.3平方千米。街道的名称取自境内的江海大道[2]。2020年第七次全国人口普查时，常住人口为124010人[1]。街道的前身是新滘镇的一部分，如今已由城乡结合部发展为城区，辖区内驻军和学校较多[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1986年，这一带属海珠区新滘镇；1999年设立江海街道[1]。除居委会外，辖区内还有红卫、桂田两个经济联合社和江贝一社、二社两个经济社，保留着由村转为城区的痕迹[2]。

2024年5月，原大塘社区以东明、元龙两条街巷的门牌号为界，分设为大塘东社区和大塘西社区[2]。百度百科记载，街道在2021年10月底辖有17个社区[1]；博雅地名网目前同样列出17个社区居委会[2]。维基百科的条目仍写着24个社区和6.47万常住人口，与以上资料不一致，应是较早的数据[3]。

地理环境[edit]

街道位于海珠区中部。东面隔河涌与官洲街道、琶洲街道相望，南面连着南洲街道、华洲街道，西面与凤阳街道交界，北面接赤岗街道[1]。气候属亚热带季风气候[1]。

人口民族[edit]

第七次全国人口普查（2020年末）显示，街道常住人口为124010人[1]，博雅地名网据同一次普查记为约12.4万人，在海珠区各街道中排第6位，按5.3平方千米折算，人口密度约每平方千米23396人[2]。

经济[edit]

街道的工业以轻工业为主，辖区内有制衣企业聚集的片区。2024年，街道五大行业的增加值为100.01亿元，当年新增“四上”企业42家[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

李福林庄园中心区住宅建筑位于广州大道南933号，于1999年7月列入广州市人民政府公布的第五批市级文物保护单位[2]。维基百科的海珠区文物保护单位列表另载，李福林公馆已并入这一处[4]。

同一份列表里，第八批市级文物保护单位中位于本街道的有：大塘社区的大塘村曹氏宗祠、观荫李公祠和大塘村李氏宗祠，石榴岗社区的石榴岗天后宫，以及新村社区的蓬洲家塾、文焕伍公祠和伍氏私房厅，均为清代建筑[4]。
