历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，石榴岗村元朝时已建立，1949年后是新滘镇管辖的自然村，1998年为台涌居委会内的村落，2002年自台涌居委会析出，成立石榴岗村居委会，沿用至今[1]。
地理环境[edit]
村名由来有两说：一说村旁的大小山岗形如石榴，一说山岗上长满野石榴[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
维基百科的海珠区文物保护单位列表载有石榴岗天后宫，清代建筑，属「第八批广州市文物保护单位」，列表把它记在江海街道石榴岗社区名下[2]。
