昌岗街道是广州市海珠区下辖的街道，位于海珠区中西部，辖区面积不足2平方千米，下设22个社区[1][4]。街道办事处设在晓港中马路147号[1]。街道因辖区内的昌岗东路、昌岗中路而得名，晚清岭南画家居巢、居廉的故居十香园就在隔山社区一带[2][5]。

1985年2月，昌岗中街道自沙园街道分设；同年9月，晓港街道自新港街道分出[1]。1998年8月13日，昌岗中街道办事处与晓港街道办事处合二为一，称昌岗街道办事处[3]。百度百科的行文把这次合并写成昌岗中街道与新港街道合并，博雅地名网的街道概况及辖内社区的沿革则作晓港街道与昌岗中街道合并，本条目取后一说[1][3]。
现有的22个社区多在2000年至2005年间由原来的居委会合并或重新命名而成：例如穗花南社区由第七、第十八、第十九居委会合并，晓港中社区由晓港街道第二十四、二十五居委会合并[2]。社区名称多取自辖内的道路和住宅小区。
地理环境[edit]
街道位于海珠区中西部，相邻的街道有东面的新港，南面的凤阳、南石头，西面的沙园，以及北面的江南中、素社[1]。昌岗路自东向西横贯，江南大道、宝岗大道、东晓路自北向南通过[3]。街道以江南大道和昌岗路为十字线，分作四个片区[3]。
人口民族[edit]
2011年末，街道户籍人口83231人[1]。第七次全国人口普查（2021年5月公布结果）记录的常住人口为9.21万人，在海珠区各街道中居第9位[2]。
经济[edit]
2011年，全街工业总产值达10.97亿元，社会商品销售额5.57亿元[1]。辖区人口密集，大中小学和科研教学机构较多，餐饮娱乐等服务业集中[3]。
名胜古迹[edit]
十香园纪念馆在江南大道中的怀德大街3号，1856年始建，是居巢、居廉（合称「二居」）的故居和授徒之所。院中曾种素馨、瑞香、夜来香、鹰爪、茉莉等十种香花，园名由此而来。两人开创的画风被称为「隔山画派」，高剑父、陈树人、高奇峰等岭南画派画家都曾向居廉学画[5]。广州市人民政府于1983年8月公布第二批市级文物保护单位，十香园列入其中[6]。纪念馆2007年对外开放，2010年开放二期场馆，免费参观，周一闭馆[5]。

著名人物[edit]
居巢（1811年至1865年）与居廉（1828年至1904年）是堂兄弟，都是隔山乡人，隔山乡在今海珠区昌岗中街一带，二人都以花鸟画见称于清末的广东画坛[2]。
