历史沿革[edit]

社区名来自辖区内的海幢寺。1961年时，此处按寺前、溪峡、漱珠、海幢分设四个居委会；到2005年，前三个并进了寺前居委会，寺前之名一直用到现在。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广州市住房和城乡建设局在2022年11月将其认定为绿色社区（2022年度）；2024年度，它还获评广州市充分就业社区。[1]
