新南社区是广州市越秀区大东街道下辖的社区。名称来自辖区内的老街新南街。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1988年定名新南居委会，隶属东华东街；此前称第六居委会（1982年起），再往前是延安街第四居委会（1969年）和1953年建立的东华东街第四居委会。2005年东山区并入越秀区，社区转归大东街道。2014年与东华市场居委会合并，沿用新南之名。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年11月，市住房和城乡建设局认定其为广州市绿色社区；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2024年11月，列入广州市充分就业社区名单。[1]
