东园新村社区是广州市越秀区农林街道辖下的社区，居委会设在农林东路8号。社区因办公地点所在的东园新村而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1954年起，东园一带设居委会，归农林街道。人民公社化的1960年，是公社下的东园管理区。1978年，东园新村分为东、西两个居委会，之后又细分出若干个；到1989年，东西两部分重新合并，统称东园新村居委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

社区在2021年获评广州市绿色社区，在2018年进入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单，2024年获评广州市充分就业社区。[1]
