历史沿革[edit]
1985年之前，这片地方由黄花岗街道的居委会管辖；人民公社化期间的1960年，则是水均管理区。1985年5月，原居委会拆分为五个，东风东居委会为其一，到1987年有了这个名字，2002年更名东风东路。三育路居委会在2014年并入其中。[1]
荣誉[edit]
社区在2021年获评广州市绿色社区，在2018年进入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单，2024年获评广州市充分就业社区。[1]
