培正社区是广州市越秀区东山街道下辖的社区。辖区内有培正路，以及培正小学、培正中学，社区由此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区前身是1954年设立的保安街五号居委会，1961年改属东湖街，1968年改为居民区。[1]

2019年9月，培正社区名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2021年11月获确定为广州市2021年绿色社区；2024年11月被认定为广州市充分就业社区。[1]

文化[edit]

广州市培正中学由1889年的培正书院发展而来，书院于1907年迁到东山置地办学；2008年入选首批「广东省国家级示范性高中」。[2] 校址在培正路2号，截至2026年8月占地近7万平方米，校友有冼星海、马思聪等。[2]
