五羊北社区是广州市越秀区东山街道下辖的社区。居委会的办公点在五羊邨北部，社区因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这片土地原是寺右村与杨箕村的农田，东华实业公司在1984年整片征地建设新区。五羊居委会于1988年1月设立，归东湖街管辖，到2002年改名五羊北居委会。[1]
2019年9月，五羊北社区名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2021年11月获确定为广州市2021年绿色社区。[1]
地理环境[edit]
五羊新城（五羊邨）位于广州大道中、明月二路、明月路、寺右二马路和东兴南路之间，行政上属五羊北社区和五羊南社区。[2] 东华实业于1980年代开发这一片区，1984年动工，1990年前后基本建成住宅区；开发时配套兴建了中小学，楼群之间有空中连廊相连。[2][3]
