历史沿革[edit]

沙涌村建于清代中叶，1949年前隶属番禺县崇文二十四乡，1987年设居委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

沙涌社区于2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，2022年11月被认定为「广州市2022年绿色社区」，2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
