地名由来[edit]
村子位于王孙溪入海口附近，涨潮时溪面宛如江面，原称江尾，后雅化为江美。[2]
地理与避风[edit]
村子临海，属镇内的沿海重点村，也是天然的避风锚地，有近海船只在此避风，台风期间常作为群众的转移安置点。[1][3]
物产与滩涂[edit]
浅海滩涂面积约3800亩，适合养殖青蟹、对虾、海蛎、泥蚶等。耕地中水田约1500亩，茶园约1000亩。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年3月，江美村被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[2]
