半坑村位于潭头镇北部山区，由半坑、陈家山、西洋三个自然村组成，与寿宁县毗邻，是老区基点村[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村庄位于山腰的坑侧，故名半坑[1]。

人口与沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记载全村205户、780人，未注明统计年份[1]。村庄始祖原由寿宁岱洋迁来安居[1]。1950年隶属第九区下洋乡，1958年设大队，归上白石公社管辖，1966年改隶潭头公社。1984年设立半坑村委会，沿用至今[1]。
