大安乡是福建省宁德市寿宁县辖的乡，乡政府驻大安村，全乡辖16个行政村。[1][3]

在洞宫山脉东麓，乡内山多，海拔高、落差大，赛江西溪在这里发源。[2]

2024年1月，大安乡被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。[2]

地名由来[edit]

传说此地庵堂较多，大安村的庵堂规模最大，人称「大庵」；后因「庵」字不妥，改用谐音「安」字，取大吉平安的意思。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1455年设寿宁县之前，这片地方属政和里；设县之后直到清代，分属寿宁县坊隅及福安里、政和里的若干都图。[2]

1934年，今乡境归鳌阳镇管辖；1949年10月，划入第一区鳌阳镇。[2]

1958年，今乡境内曾设逢春、上游两个公社。1970年2月，公社驻地由鳌阳移到大安，此后改称大安公社。[2][1]

1984年9月，公社改为大安乡，辖15个行政村；1991年，炭山村划出炭岔头村，乡辖行政村增至16个。[2]

地理环境[edit]

乡境多山，地势高，落差大，水资源丰富，赛江西溪在此发源。[2]

全乡辖区面积约128.16平方千米。[2]

经济[edit]

乡内矿产以金银矿、叶腊石、高岭土和石材为主。叶腊石多见于村头村一带，高岭土主要分布在半洋村。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

寿宁红带会旧址位于大安村，年代为1932年；其前身是建于1917年的范氏宗祠。[3]

官台山又名寨宝尖，地处大安、坑底、犀溪三乡交界，主峰海拔1120米，明代曾在此开采银矿。[4]
