城东社区是福建省宁德市屏南县古峰镇下辖的社区，位于县城关的东面，其邻近的社区有东湖社区、古厦社区、长汾社区、佳洋社区和城北社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1981年12月，县里把此地定名为城东居委会。不过，命名后很长时间未正式办公，直到1991年9月才设立组织机构。[1]

2019年10月31日，此地按屏南县人民政府的一份通告（屏政综〔2019〕189号）改为城东社区居民委员会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区面积约1.6平方公里，总人口11288人（年份未注）。其中，常住人口为7434人，外来流入的有3854人。社区由若干小区组成，驻区单位12个，私营企业9家。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年8月，城东社区经国家卫生健康委老龄司公布，获评「2021年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。2025年12月，社区列入「2025年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
