东坡村位于福建省宁德市霞浦县崇儒畲族乡东北部，县城在29公里外，乡政府在15公里外，村庄属水库移民村[1]。全村下辖2个自然村，分别为东坡村和赤湾[1]。村名的来历，据博雅地名网称，此地原名东埔，后因仰慕宋代的苏东坡而改为现名[2]。

1958年，此地设东坡生产大队；1984年，大队改为东坡村，并设立村民委员会[2]。
