梅花村在牙城镇西部，离镇区约5.5公里，下辖8个自然村。常住人口约20人，全村共190户、500人。村民主要从事海上捕捞和紫菜养殖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来，据博雅地名网，因村中下辖上梅花、下梅花两个自然村。[2]

1958年设梅花生产大队，1984年改为梅花村，并设立村民委员会。[2]
