黄田村是赤溪镇的行政村，位于镇区西南约5.2公里，雁乐溪西侧，海拔约50米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来由：始祖姓黄，其妻姓田，故称黄田。1958年组建大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]

村中黄姓居多，明代建村。村中房屋共308幢，新建的有203幢。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村332户、1800人，分为15个村民小组；常驻近1000人，其中有大学学历者49人。[1]

经济[edit]

主产稻谷、茶叶、果蔗、花生，耕地1413亩；山林方面，有林地3840亩，林地共5410亩，松、杉两类树种为多。[1]

设医疗站2家，并有村委楼一幢、完全小学一所、老人会一处。日用商店与生产资料店共9间，一年销售额约360万元。[1]

文化[edit]

村庄荣誉方面：2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象；2021年12月，获评「2021年宁德市乡村文化振兴示范村」；2020年12月，被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」；2017年8月，列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录。[1]
