坪山村位于乡境东北，离乡政府11公里，离漳平市区约46公里，境内有三个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：此地位于高山的坳口，云雾缭绕，明末卢姓人来此买山置田，取名“霭坪山”。1958年办人民公社时，因“霭”字笔画繁，缩写为“坪山”。当地群众至今仍有人口称它“阿巴山”。[2]

1934年此地划入官田联保，称菁坑保，后改为官田乡的一个保。1949年初属官田乡，后改区；1950年至1952年，此地属官田区（第四区）。1956年并入永福区（第三区）。1957年撤区并乡，此后归永福督导片管辖。1958年隶属官田公社；1961年缩小体制时成立坪山大队；1984年政社分开后，此地为官田乡坪山村。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村境内林地较多，毛竹林也有不少。[1]2010年漳平地貌所载，坪山村海拔为505米。[4]

经济[edit]

村民收入以毛竹、茶叶和务工经商为主。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，村庄获评2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）；2023年1月，获评2022年度的同类称号；2024年1月，获评2023年度的同类称号。[1]
